Air Source Heat Pumps / Boiler Upgrade Scheme

Whether you have a new build property and are in need of a brand new heating system or are looking to upgrade your current heating system, RA have the knowledge and expertise to support you and you may be entitled to funding towards the cost.

 

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) was introduced to aid the decarbonisation of buildings and provides grants for £7500 towards the installation of heat pumps in homes and non-domestic buildings.

 

RA Energy will apply for the voucher based on a quotation agreed with you. Once the installation is completed, we will redeem the voucher and your price will be reduced accordingly.

Solar PV

At RA Energy, we begin by conducting a thorough site assessment to determine the suitability of your property for solar panels.

 

Based on our evaluation, we can identify the optimal location for the panels and determine the ideal number of panels to install.

 

For maximum energy production, a south-facing, east-facing, or west-facing pitched roof is ideal.

 

Fortunately, solar panels do not require planning permission, but it's essential to ensure that they are installed at a height that is no higher than the highest point on your house

Insulation

Insulation reduces the amount of energy needed by improving heat retention.

At RA Energy we offer a range of insulation solutions including cavity wall, internal wall, external wall, loft and floor insulation.

When insulation is combined with a more efficient heating system such as an air source heat pump it can reduce your energy bills significantly.
